Sunshine and Navels....What do these have in common?

This treasury I called "Thank You For All Your Support" cause all these lovely artists have bought from me the past month. Just a small way to say Thanks Bunches!! The silk sari ribbon reminds me of rays of sunshine...

This is titled " What is Black and White...and Gift Worthy" The majority of these shops I found in the Pounce Undiscovered section. Why? Is there a single gift you would not love to own:)

RGMPHotography wrote in his comment..."So glad to see I'm not the only one who feels my work is gift worthy! Fans of this particular piece have often called it "The Navel." Why, you ask? Well, because it does, in fact resemble a person's navel!

Although this was purely unintentional when I took the photo I now find myself in awe of how we can sometimes discover aspects of the human form reflected in nature. "

If you have time...go visit each of the shops. I would love it if you could comment and visit each shop so we can get all these artists noticed and on the Front Page of Etsy...and their inventories depleted for the holiday season!! Just click on the title to go to Treasury Lists curated by me...Wondrousstrange :)

Happy Holidays everyone!

The Kiln is Dead...Long live the Kiln

It looks like my third hand, my brightly burning kiln has fired it's last load. There may be some hope that it can be repaired...but weighing the cost of repair, against new, will be a tough decision!

However...if this was her last hurrah...she did some magnificent pieces. I would say she went out in a blaze of glory!!

I still have many pieces to post from her last few firings...you will have to check my Etsy site to see what brilliant colors she has left me with.

I'll let you know how things go...and if there is a miracle worker in the wings to help her. I have two sources, who, even on a Sunday afternoon took the time to reply to my emails of distress. One even offered a possible solution to my problem...but the solution does not seem to be working. So...Sweet Kiln...I'll hope for the best...but I think you have done your best:)

Gossip is News...running ahead of itself in a red satin dress

Etsy is taking over all my free time it seems. But I am enjoying every moment. I created my first treasury page using the colors red/orange/and blue. I used four of my Etsy Mud Team members pieces, and one from elsiee.etsy.com. The others were random pieces that caught my eye. I am very proud of this first page. I hate that the pages disappear in short periods of time...but such is life. Nothing last forever! Especially on Etsy! Amazing how much sells. I have found that if I see something I really like...I had better buy it right then. Some work...really good work hardly gets on the Time Machine 2 before it is snapped up by someone.

My sells are good considering how new I am and the learning curve to draw attention to my site. Still putting together the tools to incorporate this blog, flickr photos and etsy page. Love the challenge and the learning curve!
