It's just amazing how articulate they are in their work, how meticulous the little grasses and twigs have been woven together. Thanks for sharing this today, it's so beautiful. :)

Beautiful photo--the edge of the nest looks as though it was finished off like a basket!Isn't it amazing what skill birds have in nest-making?XXOO~~Anne
This photo is absolutely gorgeous! I don't know how something so simple could offer so much beauty and hope, but it does. Thanks!
The Robins come to Florida every Winter. In the yard around my home, we water and shelter for them. The ground is natural, so they are sure to find plenty of the worms they so enjoy. They stay for about two months and we so enjoy them, Tom and I. One year, Tom even saved one in the middle of a rather busy street. It had probably hit a car, been stunned, was middle of the lanes. He brought it home for recovery. The Robin did recover. Tom's Robbin. But the Robins leave before the ever nest. I never get the see the beautiful blue eggs. So, I thank you for the picture. Robin's egg blue.
