If I Had Wings... Vintage Necklace

I thought I would try to raku a few little wings...very delicate, but full of color just to see how they would turn out. Thought I might use them with my Spirit Dolls Collection. Well...look at what Angela of summerscreations.etsy.com has created with one of a set.

Angela says "I love this necklace...A few weeks ago my son told me a story about all the things he would do if he had wings...

This beautiful blue vintage chandelier crystal was found on the East coast in an old carriage house and is nearly 100 years old. It's in perfect condition and is 2 inches long. The gorgeous Raku wing was made by the lovely wondrousstrange.etsy.com. It measures just under 2 inches long, and has the most amazing Raku colors. The old skeleton key has a very unique mottled look to it, with the plating worn through in some places. It measures 2 1/2 inches."

Visit her shop for uniquely vintage items. So very lovely!

Artistic Generosity

I love to see my little treasures or tessera incorporated in other artists work. It gives me such a feeling of satisfaction that a simple button, or tile can add to the beauty of an already wonderful creation. I wanted to thank those who have been generous enough to share photos of their finished work.
of KCLeather.etsy.com sent in these photos using buttons I made for her leather change purses. Are these not great??

And the Sun came out again

It was nice to see the sun shining today after several days of rain. Don't get me wrong...I love rainy days too. There is just something special about a sunny day in early spring! The greens are new, and there are yellows and blues everywhere I look. New starts for Nature's creations.
